I am frequently asked how I believe diversity issues should be handled.

Differences are an advantage. They offer room for more dynamic success in teams and departments and impact both personal and professional growth. Diversity provides the unique opportunity for everyone to share in the excitement of putting divergent ideas together. Creativity and problem-solving skills are honed. The result? Higher satisfaction and productivity.

Employers and individual clients often ask what I think about the trend of younger employees moving to a new company every two or three years to increase their salary.

Using repeated moves for income gain alone can backfire. Successful career strategy depends on using a company’s resources in combination with job responsibilities to build and grow in professional skill. It needs to be recognized that companies take new employee training very seriously.  They want a solid, productive staff. They want emerging leadership.
